Job Overview
Singh Bros Event Rentals is looking for General Warehouse Associates to support our daily operations by maintaining, preparing, and organizing event rental equipment. This role includes responsibilities across different departments such as linens, kitchenware, and seating. If you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a fast-moving team, this position is for you!
Working Conditions
- Requires standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying.
- Work is primarily in a warehouse setting, with some areas lacking heating or air conditioning.
- May work with equipment such as dollies, racks, and industrial cleaning tools.
- Exposure to cleaning agents, dust, and occasional outdoor work may occur.
- Must follow all safety protocols and wear protective gear as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare rental items following company standards to ensure all equipment is event-ready.
- Inspect, organize, and store inventory properly, reporting any damaged or missing items.
- Keep the warehouse, dock, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Load and unload rental items, assisting in staging orders for deliveries or pickups.
- Assist with stock management, ensuring the right equipment is available for upcoming events.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse supervisors and team leads to fulfill daily tasks.
- Follow company policies, safety regulations, and operational guidelines.
- Support other warehouse roles as needed to maintain smooth operations.
Skills & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized workspace.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime during peak seasons.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
