At Singh Bros Event Rentals, we strive to provide a secure and reliable payment process for our customers. This detailed Payment & Security Policy outlines our procedures and measures to ensure the safety of your payment information and transactions. Please read this policy carefully before making any payments.

Payment Methods:

a. Online Payments: We accept online payments through our secure payment gateway, Stripe. You can use major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, to make your payment online. 

b. Offline Payments: We accept offline payments in the form of cash, certified cheques, money orders, and Interac e-transfer. If you choose to make an offline payment, please contact our customer service team to arrange the payment details.

Security Measures:

a. Secure Online Payment: Our online payment gateway, Stripe, employs industry-leading security measures to protect your payment information. When you make an online payment, your credit card details are encrypted and securely transmitted to Stripe for processing. 

b. Offline Payment Security: For offline payments, we take necessary precautions to ensure the safe handling and storage of your payment information. Cash, certified cheques, and money orders should be securely delivered to our designated payment collection point. For Interac e-transfer payments, we use encrypted channels to receive and process your payment securely.

Payment Terms:

a. Reservation Deposit: To secure your rental items and reserve your desired event date, we require a non-refundable reservation deposit of 25% of the total rental cost. The deposit amount will be communicated to you at the time of booking and is payable at the time of reservation.

b. Balance Payment: The remaining balance of your rental order, after deducting the reservation deposit, must be paid in full 3 days before the delivery or pickup of the items. Failure to make the balance payment may result in the cancellation of your reservation.

c. Additional Charges: Any additional charges, such as delivery fees, setup fees, or damage waivers, will be clearly communicated to you during the booking process. These charges must be paid in full before the event date or upon delivery.

Third-Party Payment Gateway:

a. Stripe: To ensure a secure online payment process, we have partnered with Stripe as our trusted third-party payment gateway. By using Stripe, your payment information is securely processed through their encrypted servers. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more information on their data handling practices.

Privacy and Data Protection:

a. User credit card or mode of payment information will be stored in our files until completion of the order, in securing the deposit and any damages if any. Once the order is complete, we will no longer store payment information. However, user personal information will be stored in our database for future projects and orders.

b. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

c. We do not share your payment information with any third parties except as necessary for payment processing.
