Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms'') carefully before using the Singh Bros Event Rentals website ("Website") and engaging in any transactions with Singh Bros Event Rentals ("Company," "we," or "us"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Website, as well as any rentals or purchases made through the Website. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the Website.

**A valid credit card and driver’s licence are required for renting any items.**

Definitions:

Rental Company: Refers to Singh Bros Event Rentals Corp., its owners, officers, directors, and employees.
Customer(s): Includes the primary renter, guests/visitors of the customer, and their agents, contractors, and/or employees.
Rental Agreement: Means the itemized list of rental items contained in the electronic estimate or invoice emailed, printed, or faxed to the Customer, which, upon signature/acceptance and/or payment of a deposit or full amount, signifies the Customer's agreement with its contents.
Rental Center: Refers to Singh Bros Event Rentals showroom, warehouse, or any other facility owned or leased by Singh Bros Events Rentals for storage, maintenance, or transfer of equipment.

Obligations and Payment:

1. The Customer acknowledges the responsibility of reading and understanding the entirety of the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
2. The Customer grants Singh Bros Events Rentals the right to charge the client's credit card for any damages that may occur during the rental period.

Payment Policy:

1. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the reservation.
2. The remaining 75% balance for the rentals must be paid in full three days prior to the event date.
3. By booking with Singh Bros Event Rentals, the Customer authorizes automatic credit card charges for the remaining balance on the specified date.
   Payment can be made through e-transfer, cash, credit card, or cheques payable to Singh Bros Event Rentals Corp.
4. Failure to meet the payment obligations may result in order cancellation without refunding the initial 25% deposit, or application of late payment charges.
5. All cancellations made after providing the deposit will result in the loss of the deposit, regardless of the circumstances or reasons for cancellation.

Possession and Title:

1. Singh Bros Event Rentals agrees to reserve the listed items in the Rental Agreement for the Customer once the following are received:
   a. A non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the total rental cost.
   b. A signed and dated copy of these Terms and Conditions and the rental agreement.
2. Rental period officially begins upon customer pick-up or delivery drop-off, and equipment must be returned within a 4-day period.
3. If rental items are unavailable before the delivery date, Singh Bros Event Rentals may offer reasonable substitutes or issue credits without any liability.
4. Title of the rental items remains with Singh Bros Event Rentals at all times, and the Customer authorizes Singh Bros Event Rentals to retake possession without notice or legal process.

Unsafe Conditions and Inclement Weather:

1. Singh Bros Event Rentals reserves the right to refuse installation or delivery of rental equipment due to unsafe conditions or weather.
   In case of unsafe weather, Singh Bros Event Rentals may cancel the order.
2. The Customer understands that tents provide limited protection from weather conditions and must evacuate the tents during severe weather.

Delivery:

1. Delivery schedules are not guaranteed due to factors beyond the driver's control (e.g., traffic, weather).
2. The Customer must count all items upon delivery and sign the delivery invoice once verified.
3. Responsibility for any damage or injury during equipment installation remains with the Customer.

Customer Pick-Up and Return:

1. The Customer is responsible for loading, unloading, and securing items within their vehicle and any resulting damages during these operations.
2. Pick-up and return times are limited to Monday to Friday(excluding Statutory Holidays) from 9 AM -1 PM only or during the timings provided by Singh Bros Event Rentals specifically to your order.
3. Singh Bros Event Rentals may re-rent unclaimed equipment, and the Customer may still be liable for the balance in such cases.
4. No returns are to be scheduled on Weekends.

Equipment Return and Missing Items:

1. All rental items must be ready for pick-up at scheduled times and placed into their original storage containers.
2. The Customer should verify equipment counts with Singh Bros Event Rentals' driver during pick-up to address any missing items promptly.
3. *Tables and chairs should be stacked and must be ready for pickup, unless optional setup and dismantle service has been purchased. Singh Bros Event Rentals bills an additional $1 for setup and $1 for dismantling*

Damaged Equipment:

1. The cost of missing and damaged items will be charged to the Customer's credit card.
2. The Customer is required to report damaged or missing items upon delivery or as soon as noted.

Cancellations:

1. All customers must provide a 25% non-refundable deposit to reserve their order.
2. Cancellations made after providing the deposit will result in the loss of the deposit, and no cancellations will be processed within 7 days of the event date.
3. Adjustments to orders can be made until 7 days prior to delivery, but cannot reduce the total price below the non-refundable 25% deposit.

Intellectual Property

1. Ownership: All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Singh Bros Event Rentals and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
2. Use of Content: You may access and use the content on the Website for personal and non-commercial purposes only. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the content is strictly prohibited.

Modifications to the Terms

1. We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice.
2. By continuing to access or use the Website after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada.
