Job Overview
Singh Bros Event Rentals is seeking a Linen Associate to help maintain and prepare high-quality linens for various events. This role involves sorting, washing, pressing, and organizing linens to ensure they meet our cleanliness and presentation standards. Working Conditions
- Requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks such as folding, ironing, and sorting.
- Work takes place in a warehouse or laundry facility, where some areas may not be heated or air-conditioned.
- Exposure to cleaning agents and laundry equipment, with adherence to proper handling and safety procedures.
- Involves lifting and moving linen inventory, with occasional heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and clean linens to ensure they meet company standards for quality and presentation.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and steam linens for upcoming events.
- Keep an organized inventory of linens and notify supervisors when restocking is needed.
- Ensure proper storage to prevent wrinkles or damage before use.
- Assist in loading/unloading washers and dryers and keep laundry machines running efficiently.
- Pack and prepare linen orders for deliveries and customer pickups.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following sanitation and safety protocols.
- Work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure seamless operations during peak event seasons.
Skills & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime when needed.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
