Job Overview
Singh Bros Event Rentals is looking for a Party Rental Delivery Driver to transport and set up event rental equipment at client venues. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and safe deliveries, as well as providing excellent customer service during drop-offs and pickups. You will handle loading and unloading rental items, navigating delivery routes efficiently, and representing Singh Bros in a professional manner. Working Conditions
- Work involves driving, loading, and unloading event equipment, sometimes in varied weather conditions.
- Some work areas may not be heated or air-conditioned.
- Requires frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, and pulling.
- May involve handling equipment that uses fuel or cleaning chemicals, with proper safety measures in place.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required, depending on event schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver event rental items, including tents, tables, chairs, and décor, to event locations.
- Load and unload rental items carefully, ensuring they are properly secured during transit.
- Follow delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled drop-off and pickup times.
- Set up equipment as needed, ensuring proper placement per client requests.
- Communicate with clients and venue staff to coordinate deliveries, answer questions, and provide excellent service.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance concerns.
- Keep company vehicles clean and organized, ensuring they are ready for the next delivery.
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws while on the road.
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on deliveries, including inventory management and equipment preparation.
Skills & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in delivery, transportation, or a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment safely.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills to handle deliveries efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and coworkers.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
Compensation & Perks
- Starting pay: $17.20 per hour (Full-Time).
