Pickup & Delivery Policy
At Singh Bros Event Rentals, we strive to provide convenient and reliable pickup and delivery services for your event rental needs. Please carefully review the following policies regarding pickup and delivery to ensure a smooth experience:
Pickup Policy:
Location: Free pickup is available at our designated pickup location: 90 Green Vista Dr, Cambridge, ON N1T 1X7. Please note the pickup address and ensure that you arrive during our designated pickup hours.
Advance Notice: To facilitate a seamless pickup process, we kindly request that you place your order at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to prepare your rental items and ensure their availability upon your arrival.
Identification: When picking up your rental items, please bring a valid government-issued identification card. Our staff will verify your identity and match it with the information provided during the reservation process.
Order Verification: Prior to pickup, we recommend bringing your order confirmation or receipt for reference. This helps us ensure accuracy and expedite the pickup process.
Return of Rental Items: Rental items must be returned to the designated pickup location on the agreed-upon return date. It is your responsibility to return the items in the same condition as they were received.
Delivery Policy:
Delivery Charges: Delivery charges will be applied based on the delivery location and the size of the rental order. The exact delivery charges will be communicated to you during the booking process and will be included in your invoice.
Delivery Timeframe: We will work with you to schedule a delivery time that suits your event timeline. Please note that delivery times are subject to availability and may be impacted by traffic and other external factors.
Delivery Location: During the booking process, please provide accurate delivery address details, including any specific instructions or accessibility considerations. Our delivery team requires clear access to the designated delivery location for a successful delivery.
Delivery Confirmation: Upon delivery, our team will confirm the rental items and quantities with you. We encourage you to inspect the delivered items and notify our team immediately of any discrepancies or concerns.
Count and Inspection: Upon delivery, we require that you count all items with the driver and sign the delivery invoice once you are certain that everything has been delivered. Please note that we cannot accept quantity disputes after the event. If you fail to arrange for someone to be on-site at the time of delivery, our driver will leave your rental items at a predetermined location. In this case, you agree to accept the order as complete and acknowledge that all delivered equipment is in good working order, unless we receive a phone call or time-dated email prior to the event.
Liability and Risk: The client assumes all risk of damage or injury during the installation of rental items. This includes any damage that may occur to hardwood, tile, stone flooring, patios, tennis courts, driveways, walkways, and underground utilities. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the installation process is carried out safely and without causing damage to the property.
Delivery Conditions: Deliveries will be made to areas that are readily accessible to our trucks or trailers. Please note that extra charges may apply for deliveries that involve difficult access, long carries, stair or elevator deliveries, or repeated delivery or pick-up attempts. For residential deliveries and pickups, items will only be delivered to the driveway or inside a car garage. Additional charges may apply for deliveries to the backyard, deliveries with difficult access, long carries, or deliveries involving stairs. Please ensure that the delivery location is easily accessible and inform us of any potential obstacles or challenges during the booking process.
Cancellation or Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule a pickup, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to inform us in a timely manner may result in cancellation fees or the loss of the reserved rental items. To cancel or reschedule a delivery, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time. Late cancellations may incur charges or penalties, depending on the circumstances.
